Meet Our Founder: Dennisha Ware
Dennisha Ware, founder of Heritage of the Village, knows firsthand the challenges of raising a family as a teen parent. Her journey inspired Denisha’s Village, a program to support teen parents—and from that experience, she realized something powerful: everyone, even those helping others, needs a village.
Heritage of the Village was born from that insight. Dennisha’s vision is simple but transformative: “We are the village that we need.” Through community programs, partnerships, and resources, she is building a network where people can connect, grow, and thrive together—creating a stronger, more empowered community for all.
